Tarbes Lourdes Pyrenees International Airport

is the closest.

GDS code: LDE

It is about 10km away, (10 min from the town centre), then you can take a

taxi right to the hotel. The taxi is approximately 25 euros during the day and

30 euros at night and weekends, depending on the amount of luggage.

It was fully rebuilt in 1999, and is connected to the biggest European platforms

by around 50 airlines. As France’s fifth biggest charter airport, it welcomes

the United Kingdom, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Malta and Switzerland.

  Toulouse- Blagnac Airport
is 180km away,

 


 

You can catch a cab/bus to the train station from the airport

and hop on a train in Toulouse which will bring you

right into Lourdes!

(It's only about an hour and a half ride from Lourdes,)

and has flights from many other major European cities!

 

OR explore this beautiful town for a couple of hours!

Then, once at Lourdes train station,

you can catch a cab for the short ride to the hotel!

 Pau-Pyrenees Airport
 

The scenic town of Pau is just a 26 minute train ride away from Lourdes!

Looks like the ticket to Pau is about $12.00! (2014 prices)

If you have some extra time take a couple of hours

and see the sights around town!...

 

You can take a tour of

King Henry IV's castle every hour!

Check for train times at the tourist center!

 

 

 

 

 

A  taxi will cost aproximately 70 euros during the day
 and 95 euros at night and on weekends,
 depending on the amount of luggage...

 

Pau-Pyrénées Airport is located 7 km north of Pau
and only 45 km from Lourdes. In 2002, Pau-Pyrénées opened a new,
more comfortable, spacious terminal that offers all the facilities
of a modern infrastructure.

 

The funicular takes you from

the train station

to the upper part of town!

 

You can walk along the

“Boulevard of the Pyrenees”

         which offers some beautiful views

of the mountain range  

and has some quaint gardens!

There are some good rates out there if you fly into Bordeaux!

- it seems to be cheaper than Pau - but is further away - the train ride is a couple of hours  - but then again - Bordeaux is a world class destination!  

 

You may want to take a couple of hours to see the sights!
