Before Lourdes was known around the world for the apparitions in the Grotto, etc....
it was a major stopping point to arrive at some spectacular tourist
destinations down the road!!....most notably Gavernie!
There's a beautiful
dirt path that runs along the river
towards the mountain!
...and you'll never know
who you'll run into
along the way! lol!
We'll travel down the scenic road through the beautiful Pyrneees Mts,
some which run along the past routes
for the Tour du France!
A great rest stop along the way
with delicious snacks!
