"Where are the words to describe the feeling, the emotion, the depth of being when Mother Mary touches your heart? Theoretically we may know that one can have this experience anywhere we are in the world but the sacredness of Lourdes makes it easier. From the moment of commitment to take this journey to many months after the journey the heart slowly opens and expands to a place where the Divine is continually palpable. The beauty of the soul is revealed in a very safe and nurturing way. It becomes easier to trust and to love – even the unsightly things that happen all around us on this human plane. Lourdes is a blessing to all who step onto its hallowed ground. Take a leap of faith and sink yourself in this Divine bliss!"

“There were so many special moments: the procession of lights in the evenings for example, when we walked with a lighted candle around the sacred area in front of the Basilica, chanting Ave Maria… That was deeply touching to my heart. Walking with all the hundreds (or thousands?) of people felt like being in a large community of God’s children, Mother Mary’s children,…it felt so pure, so innocent, so full of light!... and the baths – entering the water felt so sacred. The water was quite chilly, but afterwards one felt so purified, so filled with light and love.”
